AULI :
Auli is in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountains of Uttrakhand,India. Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal, which means "meadow", is located at an elevation of 2,800 metres (9,200 ft) above sea. Between June to October, the valley has one of highest number of flower species found anywhere in the world, with 520 species of high altitude plants, 498 of which are flowering plants with significant populations of endangered species. Auli is a hiking and ski destination and after the creation of the state of Uttarakhand, Auli was marketed as a tourist destination. It is surrounded by oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. The slopes are intended for both professional skiers and novices. The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMVNL) a state government agency which takes care of this resort, and Uttrakhand Tourism Department, conduct winter sports competitions at Auli to encourage skiing in India. It has a 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) cable car, a chairlift and a ski lift, along with a maintained trek route.
DAY 1: Haridwar/ Dehradun - Jasimath
Today, the tourists will be picked up from Haridwar or Dehradun, and then transferred to Jasimath. On route visit Devprayag, Maa Dhari Devi Temple, Srinagar Dam which are some of the famous attractions of Uttarakhand. Check in into the hotel, take some rest. Relish a delicious meal, followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Josimath.
DAY 2: Auli- Ropeway
Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed to transfer Auli for a half day tour to the Auli lake and don’t miss to visit the Auli Ropeway (Own Cost), starting from Joshimath and ending in Auli, which offers a majestic view of the Himalayan Ranges. The Auli Ropeway is also the highest and longest ropeway in Asia after Gulmarg. After a tiring but equally beautiful day get back to your hotel for dinner and a cozy overnight stay.
DAY 3: Auli: Full day sightseeing
Arise to a scrumptious breakfast and be prepared for an amazing and equally thrilling trek. The trek will be from Auli to Gorson Bugyal (Self), which would be about 3 km long. The majestic view of the Himalayan ranges will make you spellbound. This trek is one of the most beautiful parts of this Auli Package from Delhi. Then return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and night stay.
DAY 4: Auli-Haridwar
After having an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel, and leave for Haridwar with a box filled with sweet memories.
