Uttarakhand has many tourist spots due to its location in the Himalayas. Gangotri and Yamunotri, the sources of the Ganges and Yamuna, dedicated to Ganga and Yamuna respectively, fall in the upper reaches of the state and together with Badrinath (dedicated to Vishnu) and Kedarnath (dedicated to Shiva) form the Chota Char Dham, one of Hinduism's most spiritual and auspicious pilgrimage circuits. Haridwar, meaning "Gateway to the God", is a prime Hindu destination. Haridwar hosts the Haridwar Kumbh Mela every twelve years, in which millions of pilgrims take part from all parts of India and the world. Rishikesh near Haridwar is known as the preeminent yoga centre of India. The state has an abundance of temples and shrines, many dedicated to local deities or manifestations of Shiva and Durga, references to many of which can be found in Hindu scriptures and legends. Uttarakhand is, however, a place of pilgrimage for the adherents of other religions too. Piran Kaliyar Sharif near Roorkee is a pilgrimage site to Muslims, Gurudwara Darbar Sahib, in Dehradun, Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib in Chamoli district, Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib in Nanakmatta and Gurudwara Reetha Sahib in Champawat district are pilgrimage centres for Sikhs. Tibetan Buddhism has also made its presence with the reconstruction of Mindrolling Monastery and its Buddha Stupa, described as the world's highest at Clement Town, Dehradun.

 

Day 1 : Delhi to Mussoorie

After arriving at the meeting point in Delhi, you will be received and picked up for your road transfer to Mussoorie, the first destination of your Uttarakhand family tour.

As you reach your hotel in Mussoorie, check in and relax for a while. Rest of the day is at leisure, which you can enjoy the way you want. As the dusk falls, return to the hotel for sumptuous dinner, followed by a cozy overnight stay.

 

Day 2 :Mussoorie local

Day 3 : Masoorie to Dhanauti

Day 5 : Corbett Jungle Safari

Day 6 : Corbett to Kausani

Nanda Devi Temple: Nanda Devi temple is located at a distance of 3km from the Munsiyari town, which is dedicated to Goddess Nanda (or Parvati). The temple offers a peaceful environment, divine vibrations, and a panoramic view of Himalayan peaks.

Thamri Kund: This lake is 8-9 km before Munsiyari Town. To reach Thamri Lake, there is a dedicated 3 km trek for trekkers. The walk towards the lake is full of scenic views and gives you a decent trekking experience.

Munsiyari Tulip Garden & Eco Park: Munsyari Tulip Garden, Nature Education, and Eco Park Center is spread over 30 hectares, some part of it has been developed for Tulip Garden. In this eco-park, there will huts and tents which provide accommodation to the tourists. A bird  tourism center is being developed at Munsyari-based Nature Education and Eco Park Centre where nature lovers can watch more than 130 bird species Tribal Heritage Museum Tribal Heritage Museum is a small private Musume in Munsiyari, where you can gain the information related to the history, culture, and lifestyle of the Tribal community of Bhotias of Uttarakhand.Lichen Park is a good option for Biologists & and for those who are interested to know about lichen. Day 9: Munsiyari to Ranikhet
