Sandakphu Phalut Trek
SANDAKPHU PHALUT TREK :
Sandakphu is one of the best treks in India for the begieners. One can start exploring trekking adventure with this. This is the highest natural point of West Bengal. The entire trail is inside Singalila National park. The altitude of sandakphu is 3636 mtr or 11930 ft. The temperature normal stays between 10°C to -11°C depending on the time and season.
Short Itinerary:
1. Arrival at Manebhanjan : Upon arrival to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Siliguri Bus Stand our representative will meet you and take you to Manebhanjan by car. It will be a 3 hours’ drive (75Kms). Food will be provided at the homestay at Manebhanjan. You can get leisure time in the evening and Overnight stay will be there.
2. Trek to Tumling : Tumling is just 13kms trek from Manebhanjan. Time depends on the Trekkers speed of trekking. In this beautyful road just beside the India and Nepal some small points will covered like Chitrey, Lamey Dhura, Meghma etc. After reaching Tumling there will be overnight stay.
3. Trek to Kalipokhri : Kalipokhri is a famous place for its mysterious stories of the black water small lake. It is also a very nice place to enjoy the nature. One can cover Jaubari, Gairibas etc in this route. There will be a overnight stay at kalipokhri.
4. Trek to Sandakphu : To reach the highest natural point of west bengal (Sandakphu) a very beautiful trail one can cover from Kalipokhri. There will a breattaking view of a lot of Mountain peaks from sandakphu like Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Kachenjungha (Sleepng Buddha View), Mt. Lotze, Mt. Kumbhakarna, Mt. Chomlonzo, Mt Pandim and many more. The 360 degree view will be a life time memory for anyone.
5. Trek to Phalut : This is a trailof 21kms via sabargram & Moley. There will be a night stay at Phalut.
5. Trek to Gurkhey : Its complete descending trail to Gorkhey. Gorkhey is a small village on the riverbank. Our last nightstay for this trek is here
6. Drop : Early morning trek to Srikhola, which is another beautiful village, & car will pickyou up and it will drop you to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Siliguri Bus Stand with Sweet Memories...!!!
