North Sikkim is the largest of the four districts of Sikkim. It is home to the Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens), a vulnerable species. This animal is the pride of Sikkim and is also the State Animal. The main attractions of this area are Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, at an elevation of 5,430 m (17,800 ft), Lachen, Lachung, Katao, Zero Point, Yumthang valley, Chunhthang Etc.
Most of North Sikkim is restricted to travellers and permits are needed to visit these areas. The area, which shares a sensitive border with the China, is heavily patrolled by the Indian Army. However, in view of exquisite scenic beauty, a large number of tourists have started visiting the region overcoming all sorts of hardship. Often unregulated tourism becomes a major conservation issue in fragile ecosystem such as high mountains.
The Silk Route was and is a network of trade route connecting the east & west, from the 2nd century BCE to the 18th century CE. It was central to the economic, cultural, political, and religious interactions between these regions. "The Silk Route" usually refers to certain land routes. The Silk Rooute comes under the East Sikkim Part in India. Some of the Famouse Tourist Points are Sillery Gaon, Ichhe gaon, Aritar, Zuluk, Zigzag Road, Gnathang Valley etc.We Have Different Packages for this Part of Sikkim.
ITINERARY: (7 Nights & 8 Days)
 Day 1> NJP RAILWAY STATION/BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/SILIGURI - SILLERYGAON
Pick up from NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri Bus Stand & transfer to Sillery Gaon - our representative will be there to receive the guest at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri Bus Stand - he will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Sillery Gaon– situated at an altitude of 6000 ft. It is lovingly called by the locals as new Darjeeling. Sillery Gaon is a village of not more than 24 families and that too in the middle of a jungle. This place is being proclaimed as the new Darjeeling because of its beautiful view of the Mt. Kanchenjungha. Its serene atmosphere is an invitation to run away from the hum and din of the city. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Sillery Gaon.
 Day 2> SILLERYGAON- RISHIKHOLA
After breakfast pick up from homestay & transfer to Rishikhola. Rishikhola is a riverside destination just 37 km from Kalimpong and very near to Pedong. The little village of Rishikhola received its name from the Rishi River running along this small place. Overnight stay at Rishikhola.
 Day 3> RISHIKHOLA - ZULUK
After morning breakfast proceed to Zuluk via Aritar (given cost is without aritar, if Aritar is added then rs/-999 will be added per car). The Aritar Lake (ghati-tso) is a nearby attraction, Aritar under Rongli sub division of East Sikkim is a tiny village situated on the Himalayas. The Lampokhari Lake, emerald forests, the sweeping hills with deep gorge and occasional waterfalls, the mountain slopes strewn with terrace
Farming and overall the panoramic view of the Mighty Kanchenjungha range cast an indelible imprint on the mind of the traveller never to be effaced with the passage of time. Zuluk is a relatively new offbeat destination of Sikkim and has a primitive charm. The emerald forests, the sweeping hills with deep gorge and occasional waterfalls, the mountain slopes strewn with terrace farming and overall the panoramic view of the Mighty Kanchenjungha range cast an indelible imprint on the mind of the traveller never to be effaced with the passage of time. Zuluk or duluk is situated at an altitude of 10,000 ft. Of sea level and has a primitive charm. Zuluk perched on the rugged terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim is a hamlet close to indo-china border. Zuluk is located on the famous old-silk-route. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight stay at Zuluk.
 Day 4> ZULUK SIGHTSEEING & GANGTOK
After breakfast pick up from homestay and visit Thambi View Point, Zigzag Road, Gnathang Valley, Kupuk Lake, Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir (Nathula Optional) etc & transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
 Day 5> Gangtok To Lachen
After Breakfast Pick up from Stand, transfer to Lachen Via seven sister water fall, Naga waterfall & Arrive to Lachen. Overnight stay at Lachen.
 Day 6> Lachen To Lachung Via Gurudongmar
After Breakfast pick up from hotel &transfer to Gurudongmar Lake, *Kalapathhar (optional – Depend on weather with Extra charge payable to driver on spot) then Transfer to Lachung. Overnight stay at Lachung.
 Day 7> Lachen To Gangtok via Yumthang Valley
After Breakfast pick up from hotel & transfer to Yumthang valley & *Zero point/katao (optional – Depend on weather with Extra charge payable to driver on spot) and return to Gangtok with sightseeing. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
 Day 8> Drop
After Breakfast Drop at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri Bus Stand with sweet memories…!!!
