ITINERARY:

 

📌 Day 1 | Guwahati to Shillong via Umiam Lake (Approx. 120 Kms | 3–4 Hrs)

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, meet and greet followed by transfer to Shillong, the beautiful hill station of Meghalaya. En route visit the scenic Umiam Lake (Barapani), surrounded by lush green hills and peaceful landscapes. After reaching Shillong, check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Museum, and Police Bazar for shopping and local food. Overnight stay at Shillong.

 

📌 Day 02 | Shillong to Cherrapunjee Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Cherrapunjee (Sohra), famous for its waterfalls, caves, and breathtaking natural beauty. Visit popular sightseeing attractions including Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Eco Park, and Garden of Caves. En route, also visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for panoramic views of Shillong city and the surrounding hills. After sightseeing, transfer to the hotel in Cherrapunjee for overnight stay.


📌 Day 03 | Cherrapunjee Full Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Cherrapunjee's natural wonders. Visit Wei Sawdong Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Arwah Cave, and various scenic viewpoints overlooking the Bangladesh plains. Spend the day amidst breathtaking landscapes before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
 

📌 Day 04 | Cherrapunjee to Dawki via Mawlynnong Village Tour

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Dawki via Mawlynnong Village. Explore Mawlynnong, known as the cleanest village in Asia, and enjoy its peaceful surroundings, bamboo sky walk, and nearby Living Root Bridge at Riwai Village. Later, continue towards Dawki and visit the crystal-clear Umngot River, famous for its transparent water and boating activities. After sightseeing, check in at the hotel in Dawki. Overnight stay in Dawki.
 

📌 Day 05 | Dawki to Shillong via Phe Phe Falls & Krang Suri Falls

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Shillong. En route, visit the beautiful Phe Phe Falls and the stunning Krang Suri Falls, known for their turquoise-blue water and scenic surroundings. Continue the journey towards Shillong and enjoy local sightseeing if time permits. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

 

📌 Day 6 | Shillong to Guwahati with Guwahati Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. Upon arrival, enjoy local sightseeing covering Assam State Zoo, Umananda Temple (Boat Own cost), and Brahmaputra Riverfront. In the evening, you may enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River at your own cost. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Guwahati.

 

📌 Day 7 | Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple Darshan & Drop

After breakfast, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peethas in India, situated atop Nilachal Hill. After darshan and blessings, transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Meghalaya and Assam tour.
