ITINERARY:
📌 Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, and the local markets depending on your arrival time. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Cochin.
📌 Day 2: Cochin – Munnar via Athirappilly Waterfalls (Approx. 160 km / 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed towards Munnar, Kerala's famous hill station known for its tea gardens and pleasant climate. En route, visit the majestic Athirappilly Waterfalls, often referred to as the "Niagara of India." Continue your scenic drive through lush forests, spice plantations, and rolling hills. Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the tranquil surroundings. Overnight stay in Munnar.
📌 Day 3: Munnar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, followed by the Tea Museum to learn about the region's tea heritage. Continue to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Photo Point. Enjoy the breathtaking views of tea plantations, valleys, and mountains before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
📌 Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (Approx. 100 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a renowned destination known for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. The scenic journey passes through cardamom hills and dense forests. Upon arrival, visit a Spice Plantation and later enjoy an optional Periyar Lake Boating experience (at additional cost), where wildlife such as elephants, deer, and various bird species can often be spotted along the shoreline. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
📌 Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey (Approx. 140 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, the famous backwater destination of Kerala. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the serene surroundings. You may opt for a Shikara Ride (at additional cost) through the backwaters, offering a glimpse of traditional village life, paddy fields, and coconut groves. Later, visit Alleppey Beach and the historic Alleppey Lighthouse, or spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
📌 Day 6: Alleppey – Kovalam via Varkala & Kollam (Approx. 180 km / 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed towards Kovalam, one of Kerala's most popular beach destinations. En route, visit the scenic Kollam, known for its backwaters and coastal charm, and the famous Varkala Cliff & Beach, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Guests may also visit the iconic Jatayu Earth's Center and Jatayu Nature Park (With extra charges). Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in to your hotel and spend the evening relaxing by the beach. 📌 Day 7: Kovalam – Kanyakumari (Approx. 90 km / 2-3 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial, and enjoy the spectacular sunset view over the sea. Spend the evening exploring the local market and coastal promenade. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.
📌 Day 8: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum Departure (Approx. 95 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Trivandrum. En route, visit the sacred Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (subject to temple timings and dress code), Napier Museum, and Trivandrum Zoo. Later, transfer to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Kerala's hills, wildlife, waterfalls, backwaters, beaches, and the iconic southern tip of India.
