ITINERARY:
 

📌Day 1: New Mal Jn. / NJP / Bagdogra – Lataguri / Gorumara (75 km | 2.5–3 hrs)
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), New Mal Junction, or Siliguri Bus Stand, begin your scenic drive to Lataguri, the gateway to the forests of Gorumara National Park. Surrounded by lush tea gardens, rivers, and dense forests, Dooars offers the perfect escape into nature. Check in to your jungle resort and spend the evening exploring the serene Murti River or nearby tea estates. Overnight stay at Lataguri / Murti.

📌Day 2: Jungle Safari (Optional) & Lataguri Local Sightseeing
Start your day with an exciting Jungle Safari in Gorumara National Park or Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary (optional and subject to permit availability at extra cost). Spot wildlife such as Indian bison, elephants, deer, peacocks, and various species of birds. After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour covering some of the most scenic destinations of the Dooars region. Visit Jhalong, a picturesque riverside village on the banks of the Jaldhaka River, followed by Bindu, the last village on the Indo-Bhutan border known for its beautiful dam and panoramic mountain views. Continue to Paren, a peaceful hamlet surrounded by lush greenery and forested hills. Later, explore the charming hill settlements of Samsing, Suntalekhola, and Rocky Island, famous for their hanging bridges, forest trails, streams, and breathtaking natural beauty. Conclude the day with a visit to the serene Murti River, one of the most popular attractions in Dooars, before returning to your resort in Lataguri. Overnight stay at Lataguri / Murti.

📌Day 3: Lataguri – Jaldapara via South Khayerbari (85 km | 2.5–3 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Jaldapara National Park, one of the best wildlife destinations in Eastern India. En route, visit the South Khayerbari Leopard Rescue Centre, home to rescued leopards and other wildlife species. Upon arrival at Jaldapara, check in to your resort. In the evening, you may opt for an Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari in Jaldapara National Park (optional and at extra cost, subject to availability). Overnight stay at Jaldapara.

📌Day 4: Buxa – Jayanti Day Excursion from Jaldapara
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Buxa Tiger Reserve and Jayanti, two of the most scenic destinations in the eastern Dooars region. Visit Rajabhatkhawa Nature Interpretation Centre, known for its informative exhibits on the rich biodiversity of the reserve. Continue to the picturesque Jayanti Riverbed, surrounded by dense forests and hills, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful natural setting. Adventure enthusiasts may opt for a trek to the historic Buxa Fort or the sacred Mahakal Cave (optional and at own cost). Enjoy the serene beauty of the forests, rivers, and Himalayan foothills before returning to Jaldapara by evening. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.

📌Day 5: Jaldapara – New Mal Jn. / NJP / Bagdogra Drop
After breakfast, check out from the resort and proceed towards New Mal Junction, NJP Railway Station, Bagdogra Airport, or Siliguri Bus Stand for your onward journey. Tour concludes with wonderful memories of Dooars' forests, wildlife, rivers, and scenic beauty.
